Group 1: Schools aren't being successful due to students not being interested in learning the subject. teachers never break out of there simple based, generic ways of teaching. They forced the student to learn the way the teachers wanted them to learn and not truly understand the students focus on what was in their imagination. They pasted the tests and the classes but they have no passion, they have no wonder about life outside of what they were taught in school. in return they hate reading because of how often they were forced to read they have no intellectual curiosity, there going to go on and fill there normal day with work and the stress to just pass because that's all they were taught in school, is to pass not learn, pass.
Group 1: Intro - Revision is simply the further growth of what is already there.Current models of writers process have directed attention away from revision. Gordon Rohmans suggestion that the composing process moves Prewriting to writing to rewriting. James Brittons model of the writing process as a series of stages described in metaphor of linear growth conception. I used a case study approach the student writers were 20 freshmen at Boston University and the University of Oklahoma each writer wrote 3 essays, expressive, explanatory and persuasive and rewrote each essay twice, each writer was interviewed 3 times after the first revision. Each writer suggested revisions for a composition. The essay were analyzed. Four revisions operations were identified , deletion, substitution, addition and reordering.
